Business activities: Energy Environment Sustainable development
The aim of this project is to develop a Phone app to model and monitor the buildings energy performance and optimize building energy use to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emission. To create the model of the building, the geometry data is imported from online maps and some other information such as building type, number of occupants, HVAC system, and etc. is entered by the user. The application is able predict buildings energy consumption using weather forecast data and send notifications to the user to optimize the energy usage by controlling HVAC system, lighting, appliances, and etc. Later it can be integrated with building automation system to create a smart home.
