The role requires converting the abstract framing of the model to a concrete mathematical one. Expertise in bayesian inference and machine learning would be really valued. The schedule is to meet once a week, preferably on Monday to discuss the development of the model.

The project aims to address the problem of farm financial vulnerability in India. The project is proposed to be implemented in three phases: 1.) To develop a tool through which farmers have access to information on all uncertain conditions affection crop production. 2.) Developing a platform where farmers can systematically use that information to take prudent decisions concerning their crop portfolio. 3.) Testing to what extent the tool helps farmers cope up with uncertainty. I am still at the nascent stage and require help and expertise in working on the first two phases.
