Ein Stigma ist eine Verallgemeinerung einer spezifischen Handlung oder Eigenheit einer Person auf deren Gesamtcharakter. Dabei bewirkt das Stigma einen Status der Person, der gegenüber ihren übrigen Eigenschaften hervorsticht.
